Terms of Service

Last updated July 17, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the FiveSecondTracker website and companion Chrome extension. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Using FiveSecondTracker

FiveSecondTracker provides tools for organizing job applications, trackers, statuses, and related information. You may use the service only in compliance with applicable laws and these terms.

Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your password and sessions, and all activity performed through your account. Notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. Accounts and paid access are intended for the individual account holder and may not be resold or shared as a service for others.

Paid access

Use of the FiveSecondTracker application, including the website tracker and companion extension, requires a completed purchase. Users may create an account, verify their email, sign in, and access checkout before purchasing. The applicable price and purchase terms are displayed before checkout. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; FiveSecondTracker does not directly store complete payment-card details. Any refund rights required by applicable law remain unaffected.

Your content

You retain ownership of the tracker and application information you submit. You give FiveSecondTracker permission to host, process, and display that information only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you submit does not violate another person’s rights or applicable law.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt to access another user’s account or data, bypass access or payment controls, distribute malicious code, overload the service, scrape it in an abusive manner, or use it for unlawful activity.

Chrome extension

The FiveSecondTracker Chrome extension is a companion to the website. Its availability may also be subject to browser and Chrome Web Store requirements. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, reverse engineer, or misrepresent the extension except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Service availability

We work to keep FiveSecondTracker available and reliable, but the service is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may change, experience interruptions, or be discontinued. We may perform maintenance or make changes needed for security, legal compliance, or service operation.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address violations of these terms, fraud, security threats, unlawful activity, nonpayment, or harm to the service or other users. You may stop using the service at any time.

Disclaimer

FiveSecondTracker is an organizational tool. It does not provide employment, recruiting, legal, tax, or financial advice and does not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, or any particular job-search outcome. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, FiveSecondTracker will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses resulting from unavailable service, lost data, unauthorized account access, or reliance on information stored in the service. Rights and remedies that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use FiveSecondTracker.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the service or another reasonable method. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
